Life Insurance News: PMI should be staff benefit

That is certainly the opinion of 43 per cent of those surveyed who would like their employer to provide private medical insurance as a staff benefit.
YouGov surveyed over a thousand full and part-time employees in the UK as part of their investigation into health and wellbeing practices in the workplace, a study commissioned by the Business Action on Health campaign from Business in the Community.
Of those surveyed, the only thing employees would like more than PMI from their employers was a duvet day!
Mike Hall, Standard Life Healthcare chief executive, said "Plans increasingly have a health and wellbeing element designed to keep customers healthy and it is most encouraging to see that the employees themselves are recognising and looking for the benefits PMI provides."
