Life Insurance News: 7 million Briton's uninsured

Article Published: 17-Apr-2007

Over seven million UK people are taking huge financial risks by leaving themselves completely uninsured, according to research by Scottish Provident.

Their findings have revealed that 15% of adults in Britain do not have any type of insurance.

The research also found that people are taking a risk when it comes to life insurance with half of people having no life insurance at all and only a fifth having protection against a critical illness.

With such a variety of life insurance policies on the market today it can seem a daunting task and can easily become confusing, so many people simply avoid it, but they need to consider carefully what would happen if they lost their job or had a long-term illness.
